I'm astounded that in 1976 you could transform a kitchen for $60 and lose a stone in eight days simply by following the Israeli Army Diet. In the same year a handsome Prince Charles featured on the cover of The Australian Women's Weekly with this breathtaking photograph. It's one of my favourite covers despite the Weekly's ghastly masthead.

Roaming. Halloween in Hong Kong.
With bloodied limbs dangling overhead and creepy creatures hovering above dark lane ways in Hong Kong's Central district, there was little doubt that Halloween was approaching. Big Fun!

First 13. King St.
You may not know it, but King St is Newcastle's grand entrance to the city. Problem is King St is a busy traffic thoroughfare and the city is empty. Nevertheless, 1980s charm abounds.
